Shorouq Advanced Investment Company Last updated: 10 September 2026

1. Introduction

Shorouq Advanced Investment Company ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard personal data in connection with our website at shorouqinvest.com (the "Website").

This Policy applies to personal data we collect through the Website, and to personal data you send us by email in response to the Website, including enquiries and job applications sent to info@shorouqinvest.com. It does not cover personal data we hold elsewhere in our business, such as the records of our employees once employed, or those of our shareholders, investors and counterparties.

We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its implementing regulations.

2. Who We Are

Shorouq Advanced Investment Company is the Controller of the personal data described in this Policy. If you have any questions about this Policy, or about how we handle your personal data, you can contact us at:
Email: info@shorouqinvest.com

3. Personal Data We Collect

Information you give us through the contact form. When you use the contact form on the Website, we collect the information you enter, which is typically your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message.

Information you send us about employment. Our Careers section invites you to send your application to us by email. If you do so, we receive whatever you choose to send, which usually includes your curriculum vitae and the personal details it contains: your name, contact details, education and employment history. The Website itself does not accept file uploads. Applications arrive in a shared mailbox monitored by a limited number of our administrative staff, and are then passed only to the person responsible for the role. We do not pass your application to recruitment agencies or to anyone outside the company, other than the service providers described in section 8. If you are unsuccessful and would like us to keep your details on file for future openings, please say so in your email; otherwise we delete them as described in section 6.

Technical information collected automatically. As with most websites, ours records limited technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This information is generated by our hosting infrastructure and is used to operate and secure the Website.

What we do not collect. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies on the Website. We do not build visitor profiles, and we do not collect payment information through the Website. There is no user account or login area.

4. Cookies

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and the Website does not track you across other websites.

The Website may set one or more strictly necessary technical cookies where these are required for a function you have asked for, such as submitting the contact form securely. Any such cookie contains no information that identifies you and is not used for marketing. Because cookies of this kind are strictly necessary, we do not ask for your consent to them, and the Website does not display a cookie banner. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings, although the contact form may then not work.

5. How We Use Personal Data, and Our Legal Basis

We use the personal data described above to:

  • respond to your enquiries and communicate with you;
  • consider your application if you apply for a position with us;
  • operate, maintain and secure the Website;
  • detect and prevent misuse, fraud or security incidents; and
  • comply with legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

We rely on your consent to respond to your enquiries and to consider your job application. We rely on our legitimate interest, as permitted by the Personal Data Protection Law, to operate and secure the Website and to keep server logs; we do not rely on legitimate interest in relation to sensitive data. We rely on compliance with a legal obligation where the law requires us to keep records.

Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us. We will then stop using your personal data for that purpose and delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it or we need it in order to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. Withdrawing your consent does not make our earlier use of your personal data unlawful.

We do not sell personal data. We do not add you to marketing lists or send you promotional material as a result of your contacting us.

6. How Long We Keep Personal Data

We keep personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. We review the info@shorouqinvest.com mailbox at least once every twelve months and delete enquiries and unsuccessful job applications that are more than twelve months old, measured from our last communication with you, unless the law requires us to keep them for longer, or unless they relate to an ongoing matter such as a live recruitment process. Where an enquiry leads to a business relationship, we keep the correspondence for as long as that relationship continues and for the period afterwards required by applicable law.

Server logs generated by our hosting provider are kept only for the short period needed to operate and secure the Website, and are then overwritten.

7. Who We Share Personal Data With

We do not disclose your personal data other than as set out below:

  • Service providers. We use third parties to operate our infrastructure, including our website hosting and email provider, and we may engage a technical provider to maintain the Website. These parties may access personal data only to the extent necessary to provide their services to us, and are required to protect it.
  • Professional advisers. We may share personal data with our legal, audit or other professional advisers where necessary.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose personal data where required to do so by law, by a competent authority, or in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.

8. Transfers Outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Our website hosting and email services are provided by international providers. Personal data you send us may therefore be stored or processed on servers located outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Where personal data is transferred outside the Kingdom, we do so on the bases permitted by the Personal Data Protection Law and the Regulation on the Transfer of Personal Data outside the Kingdom. Where the destination country is not covered by an adequacy decision, we rely on the appropriate safeguards contained in our agreements with those providers, and we transfer only the minimum personal data needed for the provider to deliver its service.

If you would like further information about these arrangements, please contact us at info@shorouqinvest.com.

9. Security

We take the organisational, administrative and technical measures required by the Personal Data Protection Law to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and unauthorised disclosure.

No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Please do not include sensitive information in the contact form. If you are sending us a job application by email, please send only what we need at this stage, namely your curriculum vitae and a covering message. Please leave out your national identity or Iqama number, date of birth, marital status, photograph, bank details and any health information: we do not need them in order to consider an application, and if they are included we will remove them from the copy we retain. We will ask for anything further only if we decide to make you an offer.

If a personal data breach occurs that could cause you harm, we will notify the competent authority and inform you without undue delay, as the Personal Data Protection Law requires.

10. Your Rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions set out in the Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:

  • be informed of the legal basis for, and the purpose of, collecting your personal data;
  • access the personal data concerning you that we hold;
  • request a copy of your personal data in a readable format;
  • request correction of personal data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
  • request destruction of your personal data where it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected; and
  • withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal data, where that processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@shorouqinvest.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We will respond within thirty days of receiving it; if your request is complex and we need longer, we will tell you within that period and explain why.

If you believe that we have not handled your personal data properly, we ask that you contact us first so that we may seek to resolve the matter. You also have the right to complain to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the competent authority for personal data protection in the Kingdom.

11. Children

The Website is directed at businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.

12. Links to Other Websites

The Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of those websites, and this Policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top. Where changes are significant, we will note them on the home page of the Website for a reasonable period. We do not hold a mailing list and cannot notify you individually, so please check this page from time to time.

14. Language

This Policy is published in Arabic and in English. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the two versions, the Arabic version shall prevail.
